Black Canyon Stock Show & Rodeo Royalty Clinic

BWe are so excited to announce the lead clinician for our 2026 Royalty Round Up as 2020-2021 Miss Rodeo Idaho, Inc. and 1st Runner Up to Miss Rodeo America Nicole Jordan!! Get the Clinic for March 28th and 29th on your calendar!

As a seventh generation Idahoan, Nicole Jordan is no stranger to the western way of life. She began riding horses before she could walk which led her to pursue a multitude of equine activities. By

the age of three, she was already accompanying her aunt on overnight trail rides and camping trips. Not long after, a 4H club where she was an active member for ten years. During this time, she was introduced to rodeo queen pageants and won her first title at 11. She immediately fell in love with the sport of rodeo and held 9 other rodeo queen titles, including serving as Miss Rodeo Idaho 2020 and 2021. In December of 2021, Nicole competed for the Miss Rodeo America pageant where she placed 1st runner-up and received the written test award.

Nicole spends most of her time studying in her fourth year of medical school. She is the past president of the Idaho College of Osteopathic Medicine’s chapter of the American Medical Women’s Association and the national delegate to the American Academy of pediatrics with plans on becoming a

pediatrician upon graduation. She has received multiple scholarships from The Primary Care Initiative

based on her academic performance and her commitment to practicing medicine in her home state of Idaho.

When she’s not at a rodeo or studying, Nicole enjoys competing in the American Paint Horse Association. She has placed in the top 5 in multiple World shows, national championships, and circuit championships. If she’s not horseback, Nicole enjoys the rest of her free time with her beloved dog, Marnie, spending time with her fiancé, Rem, or cheering on her seven nephews and niece in all their endeavors.

Dreams for little cowgirls begin with seeing their first pony, first rodeo, or first Rodeo RoyaltyWe know the importance of making dreams come true and we wanted it to be a special moment in their lives. In 2019 the Gem/Boise Rodeo Royalty court saw the importance of making dreams come true and created “The Sweethearts of the Rodeo”. Twelve young ladies will be crowned and titled Friday night in the main arena. In 2024 with becoming the Black Canyon Stock Show & Rodeo our Sweethearts aren't just any cowgirls; they're rodeo magic-makers! They sprinkle laughter, twirls, and sparkles wherever they go. During the Black Canyon Stock Show & Rodeo, you might see them riding on beautiful floats, waving to all the little buckaroos like you!

So, put on your cowboy boots, grab your favorite hat, and get ready for a rip-roaring good time with the Black Canyon Rodeo Sweethearts! Yeehaw!

This is a non-horse honor but they will have the opportunity to represent their titles in the Cherry Festival, Magic on Main Street Holiday parade, and any other parade or event they wish to participate in.
